At Stress Free STD Testing we are strongly committed to protecting your privacy. Unless we required by law to release results to the Department of Public Health (Some state laws require positive HIV and STD test results to be reported) we do not release the status of your results.
Medical Record Privacy
Only physicians and staff members of Stress Free STD Testing will have access to your personal health information (PHI). Stress Free STD Testing will only release PHI to comply with legal requirements as set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable state and federal laws. Upon disclosure of your PHI, we will attempt to contact you as permitted by regulations or judgments by a court of law to notify you of the
release of your information.
